[MANIFESTO] [RELEASES] [LEXICON] [COMPOSITIONS] [GALLERY] Leeds Improvisers Orchestra is an open community for musicians to experiment, collaborate, and take creative risks. We are focused on cultivating awareness of the improvised music scene while nurturing the vibrant, diverse community that shapes it. We host open recording session every three months, each session captures around 40 minutes of music through improvisation and spontaneous composition as well as more prepared works with the spirit of free improvisation at the heart. The recordings are mixed live, mastered the same day, and paired with artwork created during the session by the players themselves, resulting in a vivid snapshot of an evolving music scene.
